Lulaworld 2026: Luis Franco with special guest Dianela Hernandez

Lula Lounge is the heart of Toronto’s Latin music scene, and this May, they are celebrating the 20th annual Lulaworld festival. This is a week-long celebration of jazz, Latin, Brazilian, soul, and folk music from around the globe.

The Lineup Venezuelan-born singer and composer Luis Franco brings his 'Worldwide Salsa' show to the stage. With a 30-year career behind him, Franco is a master of the genre. He will be joined by Dianela Hernandez, a rising star in Toronto’s Latin music community, who will lend her voice to some of Franco’s high-energy repertoire.

What to Expect The evening is designed to be a full experience. Doors open at 7:00 PM for dinner and drinks, followed by a salsa lesson at 9:00 PM—no partner required! The live set kicks off at 10:00 PM, and the party continues until late with Lula’s Global Late Night Party. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking for a fun night out, the energy here is unmatched.

Food & Drink Lula’s tropical-inspired menu is a must. We highly recommend making a dinner reservation in advance to secure your spot, as general admission tickets do not guarantee seating. It’s the perfect way to kick off a Friday night in the Dundas West neighbourhood.
