Let's Makedo!

Looking for a creative way to keep the kids engaged this summer? Head over to the Riverdale branch for "Let’s Makedo!," a hands-on crafting and sustainability workshop designed for children ages 6 to 12.

Participants will use specialized Makedo safe-saw tools and cardboard to design, engineer, and build whatever their imaginations conjure up—from fantastical creatures to fortresses. Once the building frenzy winds down, the session features a unique deconstruction zone where kids can sustainably take apart their creations, emphasizing recycling and material reuse.
