Ever wondered how your favourite cartoons come to life? Find out at the Lillian H. Smith Library's 'Let's Animate: Flipbooks with Blue!' workshop.
Tailored for kids and teens ages 6 and up, this hands-on session breaks down the core principles of animation—timing, spacing, and movement coordination—through the tactile art of flipbook creation. Participants will sketch, layer, and bind their own mini-animations, turning static drawings into moving characters and action sequences. It's a brilliant blend of fine art and sequential storytelling.
