Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons at The Assembly

What if you only got so many words for a lifetime? Theatre Aurinko's Toronto staging of Sam Steiner's Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons runs at The Assembly Theatre November 6 to 15.

The play

Oliver and Bernadette navigate love, activism, and silence in a world that caps speech. Part romcom, part dystopia, the piece jumped from Warwick and Edinburgh to a 2023 West End run. Bonnie Duff directs Lara Lucia and Jack Copland, with design by Kenzia Dalie, Jake Schindler, and Jay Hines.

Practical

The Assembly Theatre, 1479 Queen St W. General admission about $30, arts worker/student/senior $25, supporter $35 (plus fees) on Eventbrite. Tight indie theatre for people who liked the premise online and want to see it in a small room.
