Put engineering skills to the ultimate test at the Deer Park branch with a delightfully messy architectural challenge. Kids ages 6-12 and their caregivers are invited to see who can construct the tallest and most resilient tower using only everyday pantry items: dried pasta and marshmallows.
Building and Bonding This hands-on workshop encourages trial, error, and teamwork as participants experiment with structural integrity, balance, and design physics. It is a fantastic, playful way to introduce kids to basic engineering concepts.
Situated right above the St. Clair subway station in Midtown Toronto, the Deer Park library is easily accessible by transit. Advance registration is required for this popular children's program, so be sure to sign up early to secure your spot.
