Le bonnet magique avec Mireille Messier

Gnomes, hedgehogs, and a touch of everyday magic come to the East End as bilingual children's author Mireille Messier visits the Gerrard/Ashdale Library. Messier will be reading from her acclaimed, award-winning picture book, *Le bonnet magique* (*The Magic Cap*), treating young listeners to an engaging storytelling experience in French.

After the reading, children will get hands-on by creating their own take-home 'Hedgehog With a Magic Cap' craft. It’s a wonderful opportunity for francophone families, French immersion students, or anyone looking to spark a love for storytelling in a second language.

Good to Know This program is tailored for children ages 3 to 9 and will be conducted entirely in French. Registration is required in advance through the TPL website. The Gerrard/Ashdale branch is located in the heart of the east end's Leslieville-adjacent neighbourhood, easily accessible via the Gerrard streetcar.
