Lassonde Art Trail: Art + Nature Tours

Spend a Saturday exploring Toronto's evolving waterfront landscape with the Lassonde Art Trail's free guided Art + Nature Tours. Led by knowledgeable Art Guides wearing red LAT t-shirts, these 40-minute walking tours offer an intimate look at contemporary public art installations along the trail.

What to Expect Tours run at 11 AM, 2 PM, and 4 PM every Saturday through August, starting from either Old Firehall 30 at 39 Commissioners St (for LAT East) or the plaza at Cherry St and Commissioners St (for LAT West). No pre-registration is required—simply drop in.

Practical Info Because this is an open waterfront trail, paths can be exposed to the elements, and newly planted trees offer minimal shade. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, and check for weather updates before heading down to the Port Lands. Afterwards, you're just a short trip away from the evolving dining and green spaces of the eastern waterfront.
