Knit Wits Knitting and Crochet Club

Thursday, August 6, 2026
9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Main Street — Second Floor - Children's Department
Looking for a welcoming space to work on your latest fiber arts project? The Knit Wits Knitting and Crochet Club returns to the Main Street Library for an afternoon of relaxed crafting and conversation.
Hosted on the second floor in the Children's Department, this drop-in meetup invites knitters and crocheters of all experience levels—from absolute beginners casting on their first scarf to seasoned makers tackling intricate lace. Whether you want to troubleshoot a dropped stitch, learn a new technique, or simply enjoy the company of fellow crafters while your hands stay busy, this is the place to be.
What to Bring
Participants are asked to bring their own yarn, needles, and crochet hooks, along whatever project currently has your attention. No registration is required, making it easy to drop by when your schedule allows.
After your crafting session, take a stroll down Main Street or head slightly south toward the Danforth to grab a coffee or a bite to eat at one of the neighbourhood's independent cafes.
