Junk Journaling

Wednesday, August 5, 2026
6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
North York Central Library — 2nd Floor, Room 1
Turn your personal mementos into a one-of-a-kind memory book during this hands-on craft workshop at the North York Central Library in North York. Similar to traditional scrapbooking, junk journaling encourages participants to weave together stories through collaging, writing, and decorative arts using repurposed items like ticket stubs, handwritten notes, old pictures, and stickers.
Whether you bring your own collection of paper ephemera or rely on the upcycled craft supplies provided on-site, it is a fun and eco-friendly way to explore a new creative hobby. While a few small notebooks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, participants are encouraged to bring their own journals to work on.
