Interpol with support from DIIV

The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium
Indie rock royalty Interpol are heading to North York this October, taking over the outdoor stage at Sobeys Stadium. Touring in support of their seventh studio album, *The Other Side of Make-Believe*, the band continues to refine the moody, elegant post-punk that made them indie darlings in the early 2000s. Written during 2020 isolation and shaped by producers Flood and Alan Moulder, the record brings a softer, more reflective vulnerability to Paul Banks’ signature deadpan vocals and Daniel Kessler’s shimmering guitar hooks.
Sharing the bill are Brooklyn’s own DIIV, whose soaring, textured guitar rock serves as the ideal sonic prelude. Expect a crisp autumn night filled with sweeping crescendos, atmospheric lighting, and a brilliant mix of deep cuts and classic anthems like “Obstacle 1” and “Evil.”
