Hello Sunshine!

As part of the SummerWorks Performance Festival, acclaimed creator and performer Sara Porter presents *Hello Sunshine!* at The Theatre Centre in West Queen West. Blending dance, text, and musical elements, the piece is a deeply personal yet playful exploration of her life living with a sun allergy—navigating the invisible barriers, social quirks, and logistical hurdles of a condition that turns daylight into a hazard.

Known for her virtuosic and irreverent style, Porter transforms a personal medical limitation into a universal conversation about adaptation, visibility, and resilience. It's a poignant, highly physical solo work that pushes the boundaries of traditional memoir performance.

Located at 1115 Queen Street West, The Theatre Centre is right in the heart of West Queen West, making it easy to grab a pre-show bite or post-performance drink at one of the neighbourhood's many fantastic restaurants or bars along Queen or Dundas.
