Organized by the Toronto Dark Arts Market, this curated afternoon pop-up gathers dozens of independent creators specializing in horror art, gothic apparel, handcrafted jewelry, and delightfully macabre oddities.

More than 35 local vendors will fill the floor at Ground Control, showcasing handmade home decor, taxidermy art, screen-printed horror prints, spooky stickers, occult books, and wearable accessories. Whether you are assembling the finishing touches for a Halloween costume or shopping for one-of-a-kind alternative holiday gifts, the market spotlights Toronto's vibrant dark alternative subcultures.
The Venue
Ground Control on Queen Street West provides the ideal backdrop. Known as a hub for alternative music and community events in the West End, the venue features full accessibility, an on-site ATM, and a fully stocked bar where patrons can grab a drink while browsing the stalls. The event is welcoming to all ages, kid-friendly, and dog-friendly.
Getting There
The market runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 10. Admission is completely free. Ground Control is easily accessible via the 501 Queen streetcar (exiting near Dufferin Street). After shopping, you are right in the heart of Parkdale with great local food and vintage shopping along Queen West.
