Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical
Tuesday, November 10, 2026 – Sunday, November 22, 2026
7:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Ed Mirvish Theatre
Mirvish brings Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical into the Ed Mirvish Theatre for a mid-November holiday run, November 11 to 22.
The show
Max the Dog narrates as the Grinch, heart two sizes too small, tries to steal Christmas from Whoville. The score keeps "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas" from the animated special, with book and music by Mel Marvin and Timothy Mason, direction by Matt August, and choreography rooted in the Jack O'Brien / John DeLuca lineage. Sets and costumes lean on Seuss's original look.
Practical
Ed Mirvish Theatre, 244 Victoria St. Family-friendly holiday theatre; book via Mirvish before the December crush. Best for kids who can sit through a full musical and adults who still know every lyric.
