Graphic Novel Book Club

Comic book fans and graphic novel enthusiasts, assemble! Head up to the Founders Room on the first floor of the iconic Toronto Reference Library for this month's installment of the Graphic Novel Book Club.

For July, the group is tackling 'We Stand on Guard,' the gripping military sci-fi miniseries by acclaimed writer Brian K. Vaughan (known for *Saga* and *Y: The Last Man*) and artist Steve Skroce. Set in a near-future Canada invaded by the United States, the story follows a band of Canadian guerrilla fighters resisting the occupation—making for a uniquely local and thrilling read.
