Grange Festival 2026 – Toronto’s oldest free street fair

Friday, August 7, 2026
11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
23 Grange Road
Celebrate community and connection at Toronto’s oldest and most beloved free street fair. Hosted by University Settlement, the 85th annual Grange Festival takes over Grange Park on August 7 from 11:30 AM to 3 PM, welcoming thousands of neighbours for a day of shared culture and festivities.
Dating back to the early 1900s as a traditional spring neighbourhood parade, the festival has evolved into a cornerstone community gathering. Attendees can explore interactive tables from over 25 Toronto-based organizations, enjoy live dance and musical performances representing the city’s diverse cultural mosaic, and catch special showcases from University Settlement’s Music & Arts School and Seniors Programs.
Best of all, admission, games, activities, and classic festival treats—including hot dogs, ice cream, snow cones, popcorn, and cotton candy—are completely free. Situated right in the heart of downtown near the Art Gallery of Ontario, it's a wonderful, family-friendly way to spend a summer afternoon supporting one of Toronto's historic social agencies.
