Thursday, August 13, 2026
7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Toronto Botanical Garden
Escape the midweek city bustle and head up to North York for the latest installment of the beloved Edwards Summer Music Series. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Toronto Botanical Garden at 777 Lawrence Ave E, this week's featured showcase is titled "Fullest Flowering."
Led by pianist Chris Au, the musicians of the Joy of Music will perform an exquisite array of concert pieces, vividly brought to life by professional dancers from the worlds of classical ballet and contemporary dance. Expect breathtaking moments, including the sumptuous "White Swan" pas de deux alongside fresh, innovative works by acclaimed Toronto choreographers Jera Wolfe and Peggy Baker.
### What to Expect
General seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, but you are more than welcome to bring your own lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Because this is one of Toronto's most popular summer concert series, arriving early is strongly recommended. Come early to wander the award-winning botanical gardens, check out a pre-concert guided tour, or grab a delicious barbecue dinner from the on-site Dandelion Cafe.
### Getting There
The Toronto Botanical Garden is located at Lawrence Avenue East and Leslie Street. TTC riders can take the 54 Lawrence East bus from Lawrence Station right to the gates. Free parking is limited on-site, so active transit or carpooling is encouraged. The concert runs rain or shine, so dress for the weather and prepare for a magical evening under the open sky.
