Ewww...that Science is Gross!

Get ready for some wonderfully gross science! Albert Campbell Library is hosting a hands-on STEM adventure courtesy of Scientists in School, perfect for children aged 4 to 12.

What to Expect Participants will dive deep into the science behind the body's most amusing and unusual functions. Kids will explore viscosity by crafting realistic 'snot' and sneezing it out, identify various animals through their scat, and learn the ins and outs of human digestion by producing a simulated burp in a bag. It's an interactive, slightly messy, and undeniably fun way to get young minds excited about science.

Practical Info The session takes place in the auditorium at the Albert Campbell Library, located at 496 Birchmount Road in Scarborough. While the event is free, registration is required, and children under six may need a helping hand from an adult.
