Egg Carton Coral Reefs

Combine creativity with ocean conservation at the Goldhawk Park Library branch in Scarborough. This hands-on workshop invites children aged 6 to 12 to transform ordinary egg cartons and tissue paper into miniature, colourful coral reefs.

While coral reefs cover less than one percent of the ocean floor, they support nearly a quarter of all marine species. This session introduces kids to the importance of these fragile ecosystems through crafting, teaching them simple ways to help protect marine life.
