Dive beneath the waves and bring an underwater world to life! In this special hands-on art workshop at the College/Shaw Library, young creators aged 6 to 12 will learn what a diorama is and how to build one from scratch.
What to Expect
Led by celebrated local artist and children's book illustrator Soyeon Kim, participants will explore ocean habitats and craft the creatures that live beneath the surface—both real and imagined. All materials are provided free of charge, making this an ideal afternoon activity for imaginative kids who love to get creative with mixed media.
Getting There & Nearby
Located at 766 College Street in the heart of Little Italy, the College/Shaw branch is easily accessible via the 506 Carlton streetcar or the 63 Ossington bus. Before or after the workshop, grab a gelato along College Street or check out nearby Bickford Park for a picnic.
