The Distillery’s Easter EGGstravaganza

Friday, April 3, 2026 – Sunday, April 5, 2026
10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The Distillery Historic District
Celebrate Easter weekend at The Distillery Historic District with the return of the annual Easter EGGstravaganza, running daily from April 3 to 5. This is a perfect way to get the family out of the house and enjoy one of Toronto's most picturesque neighbourhoods.
What to Expect The highlight of the weekend is the daily EGGstravaganza Egg Hunt, taking place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Simply register on arrival at Gristmill Lane, grab a basket (or bring your own), and explore the historic site where 20,000 eggs are hidden throughout the cobblestone streets. Once your basket is full, you can swap your findings for a chocolate treat bag.
Beyond the hunt, the Distillery is pulling out all the stops for younger visitors. Check out the “Little Bunny Patio” designed specifically for toddlers, or try your hand at the Egg Scramble, a new game with prizes up for grabs. There will also be dedicated colouring and game stations, plus plenty of opportunities for meet-and-greets with the Easter Bunny himself.
Make a Day of It If you're looking for a keepsake, The Alley Press will be on-site offering pay-what-you-can photo opportunities. Plus, attendees receive a 20% off coupon for participating Distillery restaurants, making it easy to grab a post-hunt lunch. Don't forget to enter the daily raffle for a chance to win prizes from local Distillery shops.
The event runs daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is completely free to attend. It's a great excuse to wander through the Distillery, grab a coffee, and enjoy the spring weather in one of the city's most iconic spots.
