Spark your inner creator with a hands-on digital fabrication workshop hosted at the Scarborough Civic Centre. Perfect for youth and teens aged 10 to 19, this two-part program teaches participants how to bring digital concepts into the physical world.

Over two sessions, attendees will learn the ropes of 3D modeling to design a personalized pen case and cap engraved with their own name. The second half of the workshop shifts to assembly, where students will fit their custom-printed components with an ink refill, turning their digital design into a fully functional, everyday writing tool.

Located within the Scarborough Civic Centre library branch, this workshop is an excellent introduction to modern design tech. Note that this is a two-day commitment (August 12 and August 14), so participants must be available for both sessions. Space is limited, and registration is required through the Toronto Public Library website.
