Dash + Dot Robotics

Spark an early love for technology and engineering at the Port Union branch with an interactive robotics workshop. Designed for school-aged children, this drop-in program uses adorable Dash and Dot robots to teach the fundamental building blocks of coding through fun, hands-on challenges.

Coding Made Fun Participants will take direct control of the robots, guiding them through obstacle courses and interactive problem-solving tasks. It is an engaging, screen-active way for kids to develop logic and STEM skills without feeling like they are sitting in a classroom.

Located near the shores of Lake Ontario in Scarborough's east end, the Port Union Library is a bright, modern community hub. Note that while this is a drop-in event, space is limited, and tickets are handed out 30 minutes before start time—participants must be present in the room to claim theirs.
