Creating With Cops

Looking for a fun, creative Saturday afternoon activity for the kids in the heart of Yorkville? The Yorkville Public Library is hosting another instalment of its popular 'Creating with Cops' program, offering children a relaxed, positive space to connect with law enforcement while flexing their artistic muscles.

This month's featured project focuses on tactile creativity, where kids will get to sculpt their very own Model Magic clay scenes to take home. Beyond the crafts, the event provides a friendly environment for families to chat with 53 Division Neighbourhood Community Officers, ask questions, and build positive community ties. To top it all off, free snacks and drinks will be served once the crafting wraps up.

What to Expect

Tailored specifically for children ages 6 and older, this free community workshop combines hands-on art with informal outreach. All crafting supplies are provided, though projects are subject to change. Parents can relax in the library's bright, welcoming art gallery space while the kids dive into their creations.
