Get Creative with Custom Pins
Unleash your inner designer at the S. Walter Stewart branch's recurring 'Crafternoon' series. This week's installment focuses on a classic DIY favorite: button making.
Children ages 4 to 12—along with their parents and caregivers—are invited to drop in and create their own custom wearable art. Whether kids want to draw their own mini masterpieces, colour in pre-designed templates, or craft a special badge to pin on their backpacks, it's a wonderfully tactile way to spend an afternoon.
Practical Info for Families
Located at 170 Memorial Park Avenue in East York (just north of the Danforth), the S. Walter Stewart library offers a spacious auditorium for messy, creative play. This event is entirely free and operates on a drop-in basis, meaning you don't have to stress about advance registration. Drop by between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to add a little extra color to your Friday evening.
