10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Maria A. Shchuka — First Floor Program Room (CPR)
Looking to connect with local resources or learn more about community support in the neighbourhood? Head over to the Maria A. Shchuka library on Eglinton Avenue West for an informal afternoon of coffee, conversation, and community building.
Running from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, this special drop-in session features representatives from Jessie’s Centre, a vital multi-service drop-in organization supporting young pregnant and parenting women aged 22 and under. It's an excellent opportunity to learn about available programs ranging from counselling and housing assistance to health, education, and parenting development groups.
Whether you're a young parent, a neighbour looking to get involved, or just curious about what your local library branch offers, all are welcome to stop by, grab a snack, and chat with local staff and community advocates. No registration is required, making it a stress-free afternoon drop-in.
