Bubble tea lovers in the making can head over to the Barbara Frum Library for a sweet, hands-on culinary experience. Led by Chef Yumiko, this youth-focused workshop teaches participants aged 6 to 12 how to craft the internet-famous beverage: Brown Sugar Oat Milk with Boba.

What's on the Menu Participants will dive into the mechanics of preparing classic boba ingredients, from managing oat milk bases to handling tapioca pearls. It's an engaging way for kids to develop kitchen confidence, learn about flavours, and create a visually appealing, sweet treat from scratch.

Practical Details The workshop takes place in Room B on the 3rd floor of the Barbara Frum Library, located at 20 Covington Road in North York. The session runs from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM. Note that registration is required in advance through the Toronto Public Library system, and parents should take note of food allergy notices regarding ingredients used during the class.
