Beginner Ukulele Workshop

Ever wanted to learn how to play the ukulele? Head down to the Palmerston Library's theatre space for a beginner-friendly workshop tailored for youth aged 7 to 17.

Led by instructors who will guide participants through the absolute basics, this session covers everything you need to start making music. From understanding the parts of the instrument and tuning up to learning fundamental strumming patterns and basic chords, attendees will leave with the foundational skills to play their very first songs.

What to Expect No previous musical experience is necessary, and ukuleles are available to borrow for the session if you register in advance. If participants already own an instrument, they are welcome to drop in without prior registration.
