Hogtown Roller Derby presents Beaches Bruisefest!

If you have never experienced live roller derby, Beaches Bruisefest is your ultimate introduction to the sport. Organized by Hogtown Roller Derby, this massive all-day tournament takes over The Bubble at Ted Reeve Arena in the Beaches, bringing together top-tier WFTDA-sanctioned teams from across Ontario and the United States.

Expect a full day of heavy hits, strategic blocking, and blistering speed on the track. The tournament features six sanctioned games showcasing a stellar lineup of visiting and local squads, including the host Hogtown Horror, the Striking Vikings from Alliston, Maryland's Free State Roller Derby, and Erie Roller Derby.

What to Know Before You Go

Doors open bright and early at 8:30 AM with the first whistle at 9:00 AM. Toronto's own Hogtown Roller Derby takes to the track multiple times throughout the day (9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 7:00 PM). Trackside seating is famously limited and fills up fast, so spectators are strongly encouraged to bring their own folding lawn chairs for the best vantage point. Kids under 12 get in completely free, making this a fantastic, high-octane family outing in Toronto's east end.
