Barns Eco Market – Doors Open 2026

Sunday, May 24, 2026
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Wychwood Barns
Wychwood Barns is pulling out all the stops for this year's Doors Open weekend. If you're looking to combine a bit of local history with some sustainable shopping, the inaugural Barns Eco Market is the place to be.
What to Expect This isn't your average craft fair. The market is specifically curated to showcase artists, creatives, and makers who prioritize the environment, recycling, and vintage goods. With over 25 vendors on-site, you can expect to find everything from handmade jewellery and ceramics to organic body care and unique artwork crafted from recycled materials.
Beyond the shopping, the event is designed to be a full-day experience. You can ground yourself with a meditative sound bath from Spectrum Soundbath, get your hands dirty in a clay handbuilding workshop led by Francesca Conforti, or take a deep dive into the site's history with LEAF Learning Garden tours and ecological building tours.
Making a Day of It Located at 601 Christie Street, the Wychwood Barns are a cornerstone of the neighbourhood. Since you're already in the area, it’s a perfect opportunity to explore the surrounding Hillcrest/Wychwood neighbourhood. Grab a coffee at one of the local cafes on St. Clair West before or after your visit.
This market is just one of many programs happening across various ArtHubs during the Doors Open weekend. It’s a fantastic way to support local makers while engaging with one of Toronto’s most beautiful adaptive-reuse heritage sites. For more details on the full schedule and other participating hubs, check out the official Wychwood Barns website.
