Need a little extra motivation to finally finish that manuscript or poetry collection? The Ashdale Writers Group, hosted out of the Gerrard/Ashdale branch in Toronto's east end, offers a welcoming, positive space for local writers of all experience levels to gather, share, and improve their craft.
What to Expect
This bi-weekly drop-in group kicks things off with a short, inspiring writing prompt to get the creative juices flowing. Afterward, participants have the opportunity to share a portion of their original work to receive constructive, supportive feedback from fellow writers in the room.

Located right in the heart of the community at 1432 Gerrard Street East, the library is easily accessible via the Gerrard streetcar. The session runs from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, and best of all, it's completely free with no prior registration required. Drop in, bring your notebook, and connect with fellow local wordsmiths.
