Dive deep into the roots of Canadian punk and queer music history with a special screening of Antidiva: The Carole Pope Confessions at 506 Bloor Street West.

As the unstoppable frontwoman of Rough Trade, Carole Pope broke ground in the 1970s and '80s as an openly queer artist expressing unapologetic desire on daytime radio. This feature-length documentary—which won a top ten audience favourite award at Hot Docs—traces her legendary career, artistic evolution, and deep ties to Toronto's vibrant creative underground, featuring insights from cultural icons like Peaches, k.d. Lang, and Rufus Wainwright.

The screening opens with a special 15-minute short, *Stories That MADE Us*, exploring Canadian cultural touchstones. Stick around after the main feature for an in-person Q&A with director Michelle Mama. Tickets are affordably priced, making this an essential evening for music buffs and LGBTQ+ history enthusiasts alike.
