If you came of age in the mid-2000s emo and post-hardcore scene, this is a show you cannot miss. Anthony Green, the prolific frontman of Circa Survive and Saosin, is hitting the stage at Lee's Palace for his 'This Tour Won't Save You' run. He isn't coming alone, either—he's bringing along Geoff Rickly (of Thursday fame) and Keith Goodwin (of Good Old War and Days Away) for what promises to be an intimate, nostalgia-heavy evening.
Why You Should Go
Anthony Green is known for his incredibly dynamic vocal range and high-energy stage presence. Seeing him in a venue like Lee's Palace—a legendary spot on Bloor West that feels personal and raw—is a far cry from the massive festival stages he often commands. With the addition of Geoff Rickly, a titan of the post-hardcore genre, the setlist is bound to be a masterclass in the evolution of the scene.
Venue & Neighbourhood
Lee's Palace is a staple of the Annex neighbourhood. Before the show, grab a bite at one of the many affordable eateries along Bloor Street West, or head to a nearby pub to soak in the pre-show atmosphere. The venue is just steps from Bathurst Station, making it incredibly easy to get to and from. Expect a dedicated, passionate crowd—this is the kind of show where you'll want to be right up against the stage.
