High Park is a natural gem in the city, and this event offers a unique chance to get up close with some of its most impressive residents—and their cousins. The Mountsberg Raptor Centre is bringing three live birds of prey to the High Park Forest School for an afternoon of education and exploration.
What to Expect
Each session kicks off with a one-hour presentation where you'll learn about hawks, falcons, and owls, their unique adaptations, and the challenges they face in an urban environment like Toronto. The best part? You'll get to see three live raptors in person. Following the presentation, the Nature Centre team will lead a 45-minute hike through High Park, helping you spot local raptors in their natural habitat.
