Spark your child's creativity this summer with a hands-on tech camp hosted at the Albion Digital Innovation Hub in Etobicoke. Running from August 4 to August 7, 2026, the 3D Printing Summer Camp gives young learners an exciting introduction to the entire digital fabrication process.

What to Expect Suitable for children ages 8 to 12, this multi-day workshop teaches participants how to bring their ideas to life using object-based 3D design software in TinkerCAD. Campers will learn how to build digital models from scratch, prepare their projects for the printer, and finally paint their physical creations to take home at the end of the week. Basic keyboard and mouse skills are required, and participants are expected to attend all four days of the program.

Practical Details The camp runs daily from August 4 to 7, starting at 3:00 PM at the Albion branch (1515 Albion Road). The program is completely free, but advance registration is required through the Toronto Public Library website. Space is limited, so be sure to secure a spot early for your aspiring young maker.
