Calling all young creators, builders, and future game developers! If you have a kid who loves bringing ideas to life on screen, the Agincourt Library is hosting an immersive, multi-day summer camp designed to take their digital skills to the next level. Spanning five sequential days from August 17th to 21st, this hands-on workshop introduces participants to everything from basic shape manipulation to introductory game design.
What to Expect
Each day builds directly on the previous session, guiding campers through a progression of professional tools and creative concepts:
- **Day 1 (Tinkercad):** Master the fundamentals of 3D building and shape manipulation.
- **Day 2 (Womp3D):** Explore 3D sculpting to craft smooth, organic, and gooey digital art.
- **Day 3 (Autodesk Fusion):** Think like an engineer with advanced, high-tech design principles.
- **Day 4 (Game Design Intro):** Put skills to the test by learning how to conceptualize and build a fun video game.
- **Day 5 (Drawing with Dash):** Utilize block coding to craft simple shapes and explore freestyle drawing.
