Toronto Silent Film Festival 2026

Friday, April 10, 2026 – Monday, April 13, 2026
10:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
Revue Cinema
The Toronto Silent Film Festival returns to the Revue Cinema for a curated weekend of silent-era masterpieces, each screened with live musical accompaniment by accomplished musicians. If you've never seen a silent film in a theatre with a live score, this is a transformative experience — nothing like watching one on your laptop.
The Lineup
The 2026 edition features milestone anniversary screenings, headlined by the Canadian premiere of a new restoration of Beau Geste (1926), marking the adventure classic's 100th birthday. The full program spans comedy, drama, horror, and experimental work from the early days of cinema.
The Venue
The Revue Cinema on Roncesvalles is one of Toronto's oldest operating movie theatres and the perfect setting for silent film — intimate, beautifully maintained, and full of character. It's the kind of room where the live accompanist is as much a part of the show as the film.
Tickets
Festival passes run $76 ($69 for seniors and under 25). Day passes for Saturday or Sunday are $31 ($27 concession). Available through Universe or the Revue box office.
