Say goodbye to the last of the winter chill and welcome the new season at the Queen’s Park Spring Celebration on April 25th. Hosted by the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, this free event is a fantastic way to spend a Saturday with the whole family.
What's Happening
There’s a packed schedule of activities both inside and outside the iconic Legislative Building. You can catch live performances from The Sidewalk Crusaders, Kip James, the Simon Says Show, and the Sakuramai Toronto Yosakoi dance group. For the kids, there are plenty of craft and activity stations, and keep an eye out for Peter Rabbit and a roaming blue butterfly stilt walker—perfect for those Instagram moments.
Practical Info
The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 111 Wellesley St W, just north of the Queen’s Park subway station. Admission is free, but keep in mind that all visitors entering the building must go through airport-style security screening. If you get hungry, snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase at the Quorum Café. It’s a great opportunity to explore one of Toronto’s most beautiful landmarks while enjoying the spring weather.
