If you're looking for a night of raw, high-energy rock, head to Lee's Palace on April 30th. Philadelphia-based band Mo Lowda is hitting the stage, bringing their gritty, guitar-driven sound to one of Toronto's most storied venues.
The Sound
Mo Lowda has built a reputation for their dynamic live shows and tight musicianship. Expect a set filled with catchy hooks, driving rhythms, and plenty of rock-and-roll attitude. They'll be joined by local favourites Ten Minute Detour, who are known for their own brand of infectious indie rock. It’s a great pairing for a Thursday night out in the Annex.
The Venue
Lee's Palace is a Toronto institution. With its iconic mural-covered exterior and legendary history of hosting everyone from Nirvana to Oasis, it’s the perfect place to catch a band on the rise. The venue is 19+, so make sure to bring your valid photo ID. Tickets are $40, and with the show starting just as we head into May, it’s a perfect way to kick off the month. Grab a drink at the bar, find a spot on the floor, and get ready for a loud, memorable night.
