Baby Loves Music

Created for infants aged 0-12 months, Baby Loves Music offers an intimate and eclectic musical journey with a distinctly Irish feel. This informal concert welcomes children and their caregivers into a sensory-rich atmosphere, featuring an ensemble of exceptional musicians and early childhood specialists.

A Sensory Experience The performance is inspired by themes of lullabies, peace, and rest. It features four award-winning musicians—Tim Doyle, Kate Hearne, Anna Newell, and Eamon Sweeney—performing on a wide array of instruments, including baroque guitar, cello, accordion, fiddle, and uilleann pipes. The musical arrangements, crafted by Malachy Robinson of the Irish Chamber Orchestra, ensure a high-quality auditory experience tailored for the youngest listeners.

Venue and Context Taking place at the George Weston Recital Hall within the Meridian Arts Centre, this event is a highlight of the 2026 WeeFestival. It provides a rare opportunity for parents and infants to share a live music experience in a space that is both comfortable and artistically stimulating. It is an excellent way to introduce the very youngest members of our community to the world of live performance.
